Meet Mrs. Layhew

Hello! I just wanted to share a little bit about me before we get the school year started! :) 

 

* I am married to my husband Jamie! He is the Medical Training Coordinator for the City of Murfreesboro fire department. We have been together for 14 years but married for almost 9 years!

* We have three beautiful children! Emerson is 13. He is in 8th grade at Siegel Middle! He loves video games and Chic-Fil-A. Maeci is 12. She is in 7th grade at Siegel Middle! She loves to read, and loves mac and cheese! Hudson is 6 and is in 1st grade at Walter Hill! He loves his iPad, anything outdoors, and he loves ALL food! :) 

*We have two labs - Penny is our yellow lab. She is a baby and full of energy and mischief. Bella is our black lab. She is almost 8 years old and she is so sweet and calm (completely opposite of Penny) LOL

* This is my 9th year teaching. I taught 1st grade for 4 years and this will be my 5th year in 3rd grade. Third grade is my ABSOLUTE happy place! I love everything about it!
