Kindergarten registration is now open!

Kindergarten is an exciting time for both parents and students! In Rutherford County Schools, our kindergarten students ease into their kindergarten school year to help them get used to being in a school setting and begin developing a relationship with their teachers and their peers. Your kindergarten student will be assigned Cohort A or Cohort B by your child's school. (See the below calendars for Cohort A and Cohort B dates.)

All enrollment and registration is online now! You can set up an account or login to your existing Skyward account to enroll your new kindergarten student! For additional information, feel free to reach out to your child's school.

Join us to prepare your child for a joyful kindergarten journey. This session will share simple, practical readiness tips and help you understand what to expect during your child’s first year. Space is limited to two adults and four children per family. Dinner will be provided, and while children are not required to attend, they are welcome. Childcare will also be available for children ages 3 and up.
