Welcome
Welcome to 3rd grade! This is the grade of change and challenge. It is where students transition from learning to read to reading to learn. It also is where students conquer multiplication & division, cursive writing, and much more. With fun moments mixed in...the year ahead is filled with expectations of smiles & success. New this year--Students will have opportunities to visit the Makerspace in my room. This is part of our STEM (aka STEAM) program that is currently being piloted by 3rd grade at WHS. This year I will be once again by team teaching with Mrs. Nieciecki this year, so your child will have 2 teachers! I will be focusing on math, science and social studies while Mrs. Nieciecki will be your child's ELA (reading, language arts, writing) teacher. We are excited about this new adventure & will work together to maximize your child's full potential. Looking forward to a great year!
